Joel & Melanie are both from Easton, Pennsylvania where they met in high school. Living near the Pocono Mountains, Joel spent his winters as an alpine ski instructor and did heavy construction in New York City building bridges and power plants in the summer. Joel & Melanie were both raised in Christian homes but the busyness of life led them to become apathetic in their walk with the Lord. They first experienced Life Action at a Revival Summit at their church in Pennsylvania in April 2012. During that summit, Joel & Melanie experienced a personal revival that transformed their marriage & family and have never been the same. They were so impacted by the way God used this ministry to change lives and restore broken relationships that they said yes when God opened the door for them to leave their careers & serve in full-time ministry in 2019.
Joel enjoys working with his hands and has done everything from landscaping to concrete to custom carpentry work. Joel & Melanie moved their family to Michigan in January 2019 where Joel serves as Facilities Manager at Life Action Camp and Melanie serves with Revive Our Hearts.
