Meet Our Speakers
SHANE BLACK
Shane and Leigh Black have been serving with Life Action since 2011. Shane currently serves as the revivalist for the Silver Team, following years of running a chiropractic practice together and his work as an itinerant preacher.
Their passion is to see God interrupt the ordinary, drawing His people into deep, transformational encounters with Him. They live in Niles, Michigan, with their children: Grace (Joshua) Beam, Lindsey, Margaret, Ema, Claire, and Joshua.
BRENT PAULUS
Brent serves as Director of Business Operations for Moody Global Media, helping steward resources that advance the gospel worldwide.
For nearly 20 years, he and his wife, Maggie, served with Life Action Ministries in roles ranging from finance and HR leadership to program direction. With their four children, they spent five years on the road in an RV, sharing life-giving truths in more than 60 churches, and also invested deeply in ministry at Life Action Camp.
Brent is passionate about partnering with Jesus to cultivate meaningful connections and helping others experience healing and growth in their relationships.
JOHN & DONNA AVANT
John and Donna Avant have been married for over 40 years. They have three married children and six grandchildren. Dr. Avant is the founder and president of Passion Promise Ministries. They are both graduates of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. John holds a Ph.D. in Evangelism and Spiritual Awakenings, and Donna holds a Master’s of Theological Studies.
John and Donna have committed their lives to see the fulfillment of the Great Commission. They believe that revival personally, in our families, churches, and universities, and in the hearts of missionaries is the key to spiritual movements that will advance Christ's kingdom and fulfill the Great Commission.
ERIC STITTS
Eric trusted Christ at a young age and sensed a call to ministry in middle school. He met his wife, Amy, in college while preaching revival meetings where she sang, and together they’ve been married thirty years, blessed with four children and a daughter-in-law.

Eric has preached for thirty-five years, serving three churches, and for the past six years has been the lead pastor at First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. He and his family have also been deeply blessed through Life Action’s ministry in their churches and through Family Camp over the past 13 years.
STEVE CANFIELD
Steve and Debby Canfield met in the ’70s as single team members traveling on our road teams, and they never left. Their five sons and one daughter were raised with them on the road, and although their children are grown, Steve and Debby continue to travel and lead the Blue Team.
They have faithfully ministered to hundreds of team members, pastors, and churches across America with a constant heart cry to see God bring revival to this nation.
JEREMIAH CANFIELD
Jeremiah and Stephanie Canfield have been married since 2003 and are raising their five children in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2013 they planted a church together, where Jeremiah now serves as Lead Pastor. With over 20 years in ministry—including roles as a youth pastor, Life Action itinerant speaker, and now pastor—his passion is helping families live gospel-centered lives, taking one faithful step at a time.
DOUG CUTHBERT
Doug has been serving with Life Action since 2022 as a Care Specialist. Originally from Dowagiac, Michigan, Doug loves ministering alongside his wife, Marilyn.
He finds great joy in watching leaders who have been worn down by ministry come back to life through the support network at Life Action. Doug feels privileged to be part of a team that helps restore and refresh those who are serving in God’s kingdom.
MIKE LEE & ALEX LEE
Mike and Alex Lee, a father/son duo, will be speaking together this summer, sharing their passion for the transformative power of the gospel. Mike, with over 30 years of leadership experience, is the CEO of Life Action and is committed to helping individuals and churches experience personal revival. Alex, the Lead Pastor of Invite Church in Ballwin, MO, focuses on love-centered apologetics and helping people apply God’s love story.

Together, Mike and Alex will share their combined wisdom and experiences, guiding families to encounter the transforming love of God in new and powerful ways.
VIRGIL & JOY TANNER
Virgil and Joy Tanner work with OneTree Ministries, where Virgil is the Executive Director, and Joy is part of the Care Team. They have ministered in Spain and Central Asia as disciple-makers and in organizational leadership. They began their journey in mission work after serving in a church in Nashville for nine years.
They are passionate about activating households to love Jesus and engage with His mission in their community. The Tanners live with their five children in Niles, Michigan, pursuing their passion for seeing people deeply healed and fully transformed.
RYAN LOVEING
Ryan Loveing is a Jewish believer in Jesus, husband, father, grandfather, businessman, and minister. He served with Life Action Ministries for 25 years, traveling over 150,000 miles and conducting more than 2,500 services across North America, Central America, and overseas. Ryan and his wife, Mal, encourage people to live H-O-T (Honest, Open, Transparent) lives and challenge believers to apply God’s Word practically.
Since 2020, Ryan has worked as Director of Staff and Community Relations for a regional construction company, and he serves as a local chaplain. Mal also serves as a birth doula for women in her community. Together, they continue to inspire others to live out their faith in practical, impactful ways.
DAN JARVIS
Dan Jarvis is an author, speaker, and content strategist for Revive Our Hearts. He and his wife, Melissa, parent ten children, six of whom they adopted through foster care. Together, their aim is to seek God's kingdom first and to inspire others on that journey. They make their home in southwest Michigan, where Dan also pastors Berrien Center Bible Church and assists multiple organizations as they grow impact, including Life Action and Leadership Outreach.
